Global Awareness We bring an awareness of the urgency (toxic waste, recycling, air pollution, homelessness,) to take care of the earth and its inhabitants. We teach simple skills how we as individuals with the slightest of effort can make a difference and restore harmony on the planet. We also trust that the wisdom of the young women will bring about change. We discuss and contemplate worldly events while expanding our awareness beyond our immediate community. We emphasize accountability to ourselves, our family, our community, our nation and the world at large. Transformation of the individualized mindset to that of a Citizen of the Earth is the desired state of awareness, always remembering that our actions affect everyone around us. We plant the seeds of activism at an early age and with continuous watering we trust the natural cycle of evolution, unfolding a mindset of sustainability. |

Spirituality We create a space for young women to explore the sacredness and spirit that is all around us. We invite them to explore the sanctity and aliveness of nature, the ocean, the earth, the sun, the moon, animals, and the spirit and within ourselves and all things. We do not teach or reference religions of any kind yet we honor each young woman and her religious expression. We emphasize gratitude for all that we are and all that we have.
